That’s because there’s an area of NYC called Hell’s Kitchen and a waterway called Hell Gate you moron.

The Hell’s Kitchen that shows up in Google Maps is actually a restaurant called ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ not the area on the west side of Manhattan. I don’t think Hell’s Kitchen is really a solidly defined area. I think it just encompasses a few blocks on the west side below midtown.

I think it is a direct reference to the fact that New York, NY is hell itself with a bunch of inconsiderate ass hats that only care for themselves and have real reason to be alive except to feed trees.

I’m not sure, but something keeps telling me it has something to with Hell’s kitchen.
Hell’s Kitchen is a defined area in Manhattan, it’s where the Irish gangs were in the 1800’s and early 1900’s and the name has stuck with the area since then
