This is a direct quote from my commencement packet. “Commencement, a ceremony that traces its traditions back to the Middle Ages, is also a joyful one that we hope you will remember in the years to come. As your ancestors marched forth, so can you as we celebrate this joyous occasion.”

The Middle Ages. Really? So they all just took a break from the Crusades and the Hundred Year War to put on a cap and gown and take a picture with the family? I think not! This blows. I do NOT want to graduate.
